Recommended Attire We recommend semi-formal attire for our guests. The wedding and reception will take place outdoors, and the museum’s proximity to Lake Merritt makes for lovely views, but somewhat windy summer weather. We recommend that guests bring a sweater or shawl. Also, as seating will be on the main courtyard lawn, for the sake of your shoes (and your toes!), we recommend that ladies avoid stiletto-style heels.
